MATT LEONE JR.
Matt Leone is an up and coming coach who has great experience for his youth. For the 2009 season Coach Leone was given the responsibly as the Quarterback Coach and Passing Game Coordinator at Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida. In one year he improved the Warrior’s Passing game from the 80th in the country to 32nd in NAIA. His freshmen quarterback was the first to throw for over 2,000 yards in school history, and had a 62% completion percentage and a passing efficiency of 131.6.
From 2007-2008 Coach Leone spent his time as the Wide Receivers Coach at Webber International University.
2003-2006 Leone was the inaugural Quarterback at Webber where he saw valuable playing experience as a freshmen and sophomore. However, injuries began to take a toll on Leone’s playing career. During his junior and senior season Leone played his role as the back-up Quarterback, during this time he became a student of the game more than ever and knew that coaching was going to be his career of choice.
Matt Leone grew up in Ocala, FL and attended Belleview High School. At Belleview Leone was a three sport athlete; football, basketball, and baseball. Leone was selected to the All-Area Team in both football and baseball, and led his football team to District Championship in 2002.
